Hello divas! I hope that you had a fabulous weekend and are ready for another fabulous week ahead. I am super excited today to share a new, fabulous healthy breakfast recipe thanks to #CollectiveBias and the #SweetWarmUp campaign. If you have been reading the blog recently, you know that one thing I am working hard on this year is eating a healthier diet, including cutting back on the amount of sugar. Truvia and Bigelow Tea is helping me do that with my Banana Vanilla Chai Baked Oatmeal recipe.
I have been using Truvia in many of my recipes for a while as a way to cut down on the sugar in my diet. Truvia is a natural, zero-calorie sweetener that is made from leaves of the stevia plant. For this particular recipe, I used Truvia Baking Blend which is a blend of Truvia Natural Sweetener and sugar but contains 75% fewer calories per serving than sugar.
To get started with this yummy recipe, I made a trip to my local Target store to purchase a bag of Truvia Baking Blend and a box of Bigelow Vanilla Chai tea.You can find them easily on the baking aisle (the Truvia) and the breakfast and coffee aisle (Bigelow Tea).
After my trip to Target, I came home to bake my Banana Vanilla Chai Baked Oatmeal. This is a rather simple recipe to make. It only contains 8 ingredients and only takes a few minutes to prepare before baking. In fact, the waiting for it to bake is the hardest part of the whole recipe!
