Hello divas! I hope that you had a fantastic weekend and are ready for the week ahead. My weekend was not too bad. Busy because of the holiday but otherwise pretty nice. I got to spend time with the family which is always great.
As you know, I am a group fitness instructor as well as a runner. With both of these activities sometimes comes muscle soreness. Add in all the fun (or sometimes not so fun) outdoor activities of the spring and summer seasons, there are times when I just hurt.
So I am glad to be working with TYLENOL® 8 HR Muscle Aches & Pain to share some tips to help alleviate those aches and pains, including my yummy and super easy blueberry recovery shake recipe.
There have been so many times that I have done just a bit too much and have had aches and pains to show for it. There are quite a few things you can do to help with the soreness such as stretching and rest. But I don’t always have time to do that so one of the things that I CAN do to help me keep going in to take a couple TYLENOL® 8 HR Muscle Aches & Pain tablets.
These tablets are great because it helps relieve minor aches and pains such as muscular aches, backache, minor arthritis pain, toothaches, premenstrual & menstrual cramps, headaches, the common cold as well as temporarily reduces fever. It allows me to take control of my muscle pain in particular and lets me get on with my day. It is for adults and children 12 and older and you should use only as directed.
Along with the TYLENOL® 8 HR Muscle Aches & Pain, I also like to make my blueberry recovery shake as a way to help deal with muscle soreness this time of year. It is super easy and packed with healthy nutrients that can help your body recover from the exertion you have put on it.
I just love summertime when the berries come into season here in Tennessee. Blueberries have always been one of my favorites. They are packed with antioxidants in particular which can help with the recovery process after a hard workout or a day of working around the house.
This shake also includes some vanilla protein powder since protein helps your muscles repair themselves, thus aiding in recovery. I used a vegan vanilla powder as it is easier on the stomach. I also threw in a handful of baby spinach for some potassium, calcium and iron. Lastly, I added some ice and almond milk to the mixture to make it a bit creamier.
