Hello divas! I hope that you had a wonderful weekend and are looking forward to a great week ahead. My weekend was a little busy but it was nice to hang out with family for a bit. Though I have to be honest and say that I did splurge on my eating quite a bit. Which means this week I need to get back on track. Now ya’ll know I have a sweet tooth so desserts and sweet snacks are a bit of a downfall for me. So I am always trying to find healthier options that are both on the sweet side but not so laden with sugar and calories. Which is where today’s easy healthy recipe comes into play. Growing up I loved when my mom made pudding for dessert. So today I am sharing my easy healthy chocolate chia pudding recipe.
This recipe is so easy to make and it was a big hit in my house. I love that there are only a few ingredients and that it uses chia seeds which are packed with all kinds of nutrients that our body needs to keep it going, making it a healthier dessert or sweet snack option. And it is EASY to make. I mean you basically mix up all the ingredients then leave it in the fridge until ready to serve. You can also customize it to your tastes. I love strawberries so I topped mine with a few slices of fresh ones. But you can also use other berries such as raspberries or even some whipped topping with fudge or caramel sauce (though those make it slightly less healthy lol).
