Hello divas! I hope that you had a fantastic weekend. My bestie came up for a few hours yesterday and we wandered aimlessly for a few hours in downtown Chattanooga which was super fun. I can’t believe it’s almost fall around here. Though, to be honest, it still feels like the middle of summer. I mean this week it’s going to be in the mid-90s all week around here. Needless to say, it is still a frozen shake kind of weather here in Tennessee so I thought today would be a great chance to share another easy healthy recipe – my delicious morning chocolate pineapple protein shake.
I am a big fan of pineapple in the summer. While I love fruit, pineapple is one of my favorites. And, of course, you can never go wrong with chocolate. So I thought it would be super fun to combine the 2. Like most shakes, this one is super easy to make. You just add all the ingredients into the shake then blend until the desired consistency. Aside from the obvious pineapple, I used a chocolate protein shake (Shakeology) and some steel cut oats to give myself some essential nutrients that I need to get my day started right. This also allows me to be about to have this shake for breakfast if it is one of those mornings where I just don’t have time to get anything done.
