Hello divas ! I hope that you have had a fabulous week so far. I can’t believe that it is August already. It’s time for back to school and fall weather. I for one and ready for the summer to move on out. So with school around the corner and students heading off to college, I thought it would be fun to share an easy dorm room workout that can be done in a small space (see why it’s great to workout at home). This is a HIIT routine so it will work just about the whole body in not a lot of time.
I remember what it was like to go away to college and move into my dorm each year and the excitement that came along with that. I also remember how hard it was for me to find ways to workout between all the classes, homework and social activities. You see, I have always been pretty active, but that changed when I went away to school. My freshman year was pretty good because I was a cheerleader for the basketball teams, but when I stopped cheering I stopped working out. And this continued through my 20s, adding weight and causing some of my health issues.
Part of the problem was I didn’t always have time to head to the gym or get outside to run or walk. This workout is designed to be a high intensity interval workout that can be done in a small space (such as a dorm room). Each of these exercises also requires no equipment – just your own body weight.
