Hello divas and happy Monday! I hope that you had a fantastic weekend and are getting ready for what will be a fun-filled last week in July. It was really hot here in Tennessee so I spent the weekend indoors lounging around mostly after my busy weekend in Chicago and getting ready for my upcoming weekend in Nashville for Coach Summit. I have also been working towards getting my nutrition back on track because, let’s face it, it got way off while in Chicago. I mean the food was just soooo good. So when I am trying to get back on track, one thing I always reach for first is my Shakeology shakes. And I absolutely love the summer with all the fresh fruit that is in season so I thought I would share another easy healthy recipe today that combines the two – my peach chai protein shake.
If you read this blog, you know how I love my protein shakes. Often times I will have one for breakfast as I am heading out the door in the mornings as I don’t always have time for a full and healthy breakfast. They are also a great snack idea. I usually opt for my Shakeology shakes as they taste great, give me all the vitamins and minerals that I need for my body to function and keep me full until my next meal. Not to mention the health benefits that I have have seen since drinking them – lower cholesterol thanks to a healthy diet including these shakes, better regulation of my blood sugar and a digestive systems that rarely give me issues any more.
This particular shake is perfect for those hot summer days. Not to mention that it can be made in under 5 minutes start to finish. I basically just added the milk first then threw in the peaches, pumpkin pie spice, chai tea and ice cubes. It blended up smooth in my Ninja in about 2 minutes. It turned out to be a fantastic healthy treat.
