Hello divas! I hope that you had a fantastic weekend and are ready for another fun filled week ahead. We had some slightly cooler weather here in Tennessee this weekend so I was able to get out and enjoy the great outdoors. I don’t know about you but I am a big fan of coffee. While I have been trying to cut back some recently, I still have a soft spot for some of those yummy summer coffee drinks like the frozen frappuccinos. So today I thought I would share another yummy easy healthy recipe – my healthy strawberry mocha frappuccino using my vegan chocolate Shakeology.
This recipe is so easy to make. Like most shakes and smoothies, you literally throw all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. You can top this smoothie if you like with some whipped cream or other whipped topping (I opted for a strawberry instead) and you can change the flavor around a bit if you like as well.
The important thing I was looking for when creating this smoothie recipe was that it was healthy and contained quite a bit of nutrients – especially since I was using it as my breakfast. If you are following the 21 day fix or similar eating plan, it is 1 protein (red), and 1 carb (yellow). I used my vegan chocolate Shakeology, which served as the protein, but it also gives me so many of my vitamins and minerals that I need throughout the day. But any chocolate protein powder would work.
