Hello divas! I hope that your weekend is going well so far. It is the first Saturday of the month which means it’s time for another edition of the Ultimate Coffee Date with the ladies at Fitness Mom Wine Country, Got 2 Run 4 Me and Confessions of a Mother Runner. So grab a cup of coffee and let’s catch up at the Ultimate Coffee Date February 2015.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I returned to racing in January. I ran the Peachtree City 5K (finished in a little over 47 minutes) and the Hot Chocolate 15K Atlanta (finished really slow in 2.5 hours or so). I have a long way to go to get ready for my spring races but it felt great to be out racing.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I did get all my spring races scheduled. I am running the Berry College Half again this year and following it up with the Knoxville Half the very next day (crazy I know!). I am also going to be running the Kentucky Derby Half this year and knocking another state off my 50 halfs in 50 states goal (I’ll be up to 6).
If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I am loving Insanity Max30. I am finishing up week 4 this week (and will post a recap) and will be starting month 2 where it really amps up. I don’t expect to have lost a lot of weight or inches yet, but I can already tell that I am stronger and my endurance is improving (I have defined biceps!).
If we were having coffee, I would tell you that January was overall a pretty great month. I turned 35 this month and am doing well on my New Years Resolutions so far. I am also looking forward to February and Valentine’s Day (see my date ideas for fitness buffs).
