Hello divas! I hope that your week went well and that you have some fabulous plans for the weekend. The weather is much better this week here in Tennessee so I am looking forward to a couple of beautiful runs in semi spring-like weather. It is the first Saturday of the month which means it is time for another edition of the Ultimate Coffee Date with the ladies at Fitness Mom Wine Country, Running with Perserverence and Confessions of a Mother Runner. So grab a cup of coffee and let’s catch up.
If we were having coffee I would tell you that we have been having absolutely batty weather here in Tennessee. Last week alone we had a couple of days in the 60s followed by a couple in the 20s. This means I went from enjoying spring weather running outdoors to curling up in front of the fire with a bowl of chili in the span of just a few days. We did get 6.5 inches of snow a couple of weeks ago so that was fun. I am just ready for spring to get here. I am so tired of running in cold weather.
If we were having coffee I would tell you that I had one race this last month. I ran the Atlanta Hawks Fast Break 5K and it was so much fun. I am a huge sports fan so any race that combines the love of my sports teams (in this case the Atlanta Hawks) and my love for running is fabulous. Oh and I ran it is 44:19 which is the fastest I’ve run one in quite a while.
If we were having coffee I would tell you that I have a couple of more races on my schedule. I am so excited to be running in The Color Run Atlanta once again this year (I LOVED last year’s race) as a blogger (see 4 reasons to run a color run). As a member of the Atlanta Track Club, I was also able to sign up for the Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta on July 4th. This will be my first year running this historical race so I am super excited.
If we were having coffee I would tell you that I am thrilled to announce that I will be attending Fitbloggin again this year. I have been named one of the Superbloggers, which means I will be live blogging one of the sessions and joining in all the fun in Denver the end of June. What is Fitbloggin like? Check out my Fitbloggin in photos and my review of the Fitbloggin workouts.

I am hoping that March will be just as fabulous as February. So if we were having coffee, what would you share?
