My mileage was not quite what I had planned. I only managed to run three days this week and the mileage was only around 10 miles or so. Not good considering my upcoming races. I really don’t know what was going on this week. I ended up spending quite a lot of time stretching and rolling out some really tight calf muscles and trying to keep my plantar fasciitis from coming back.
My birthday! So in case you missed it on my social media, Saturday (the 18th) was my birthday. My husband had to work so my mom, sister and nephew came up and we went to the TN Aquarium. It was great fun and I had a nice late lunch afterwards. Unfortunately, my body is not used to such overeating so I suffered a bit on Sunday. But it was worth it.
In case you missed it. This week was pretty big on the blog post front. I participated in the #Onechange initiative with Vega One Nutritional Shake. It was fun and I found all kinds of yummy smoothie recipes including the Thin Mint Protein Smoothie and the Pretty in Pink Nutritional Smoothie. Goals for the Upcoming Week
- I want to run at least 4 days this week.
- I am aiming for 15 miles this week to try to get back on track with my training.
- Do a kettlebell strength training workout at least twice this week.
- Finish the Hot Chocolate 15K Atlanta this coming Sunday, preferably in about 2 hours.
