It’s Monday! That means it is time to review what happened last week and set some goals for the upcoming week. So welcome to The Weekly Report:
Workout Summary: I only ran three days this week but I managed 13.5 miles (thanks to a 15K). I also started my strength training this week with 2 days of kettlebells. Woohoo!
Race Time: As part of my training for my next half marathon, I decided to run The Hot Chocolate 15K in Atlanta yesterday (the 26th). My final time was 2:24:19 or 15:22/mile. It wasn’t as fast as I had hoped, but the course was very hilly and that pace was still the fastest I’ve ever raced in a distance over 10K so it was a productive day. I’ll be doing a full recap of both the expo and the race later this week so stay tuned.
- I want to run 4 days this week.
- I want to run at least 15 miles this week.
- I want to continue my strength training by doing kettlebells at least twice this week.
- Complete the Snowball Shuffle 8K Virtual Race sponsored by Run With Jess in under 1 hour.
