I ran 8.5 miles miles over 3 days. This was a low mileage week but it was also a recovery week after the Hot Chocolate 15K race. The mileage will be upped next week as my first half marathon of the year is in three weeks!
2 days of kettlebell/strength training.
Completed the Snowball Shuffle 8K virtual race (in my new fave Swirlgear shirt). My time was 1:10:00 or about 14 minutes/mile. Not too bad.
Snow day. We had a day and a half of snow days this week on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Super Bowl Sunday. And let’s not forget Super Bowl Sunday. I went to the annual Super Bowl Party and Chili Cookoff hosted by some friends and it was great fun. I made Drunk Deer Chili which I will be sharing this week on Recipe Thursday.
- I plan to run at least 15 miles over at least 4 days.
- Strength train on at least 2 days.
- Move Nourish Believe Challenge. I will begin the Move Nourish Believe Challenge this week so keep checking Instagram, Twitter and Facebook for photos of the challenges. There will be a week 1 review of the challenge on Saturday.
- Self Love Academy. I am also participating in the Self Love Academy sponsored through Chivon John. I will keep you posted as to how it’s going. I am hoping to learn how to accept myself just the way I am and to not compare myself with others.
