Hello divas and welcome to another week here at Divas Run for Bling. I hope you all had a fabulous weekend and are refreshed and ready to take on the week. It’s Monday which means it is time for another edition of The Weekly Report here on the blog. This is a time for me to recap the week that was and set some goals for this week.
The Weekly Report July 28
Running. This was one of the worst weeks for running I have had. I only managed one run this week for about 2 miles for various reasons. I am not making excuses, though. I was just not motivated enough this week.
Fitness. I did, however, get my 5 days of Focus T25 in which I am proud of. I am feeling pretty comfortable with the cardio, speed and lower body workouts. I still struggle a bit with the total body and ab circuit workouts, but I am hoping to get better as I go.
Nutrition. The good news is that I tracked my food every day this week. And I did really well for the first part of the week. But the last part of the week wasn’t too good nutrition wise. Saturday was my hubby and my anniversary and that involved really yummy food at the baseball game – none of which are good for a healthy diet. But it was fun and I am hoping for a better week ahead.
Anniversary. As stated earlier, Saturday was my hubby and my 6th wedding anniversary. We had our reception at the Chattanooga Lookouts baseball game so each year we usually go to the baseball game to celebrate the anniversary (last year’s cruise was an exception). They were not in town on Saturday but were on Friday night so we headed to the game after work. On our anniversary, we stayed in and watched a movie which was very relaxing.
Weekly Results. I weighed in at 162.9 lbs. this week. This means I gained 2 lbs. which isn’t that surprising considering the lack of good nutrition and running this week, especially at the end of the week. None of my measurements changed this week.
- Running. I plan on running at least 4 days this week and doing a long run of 5 miles. This will mean early morning runs as the humidity has returned to Tennessee.
- Fitness. I will also continue my Focus T25 program, hoping to improve – especially for the total body circuit. I will continue to stretch and roll my feet each day as well.
- Nutrition. I will continue to track my food every day this week, but with much better nutrition. There are no special events this week so I should have no problems.
