Hello divas and happy Monday! Another week has come and gone and it was a pretty good one, though a little slow. So now it’s time for another edition of The Weekly Report when I share what happened last week here at Divas Run for Bling and set some goals for this week.
The Weekly Report May 12, 2014
Workouts. This week I managed 3 days of running 2 days of strength training. I only got 6 miles in, but I did maintain my run/walk ratio which is good.

Mother’s Day. Mother’s Day is always hard for me as my husband and I are now going on three years of infertility. So to take my mind off of it, we kept busy. We spent lunch with my husband’s mother and grandmother then drove down to have dinner with my mom. I was very glad to get home after all the traveling but it was a good time.
Goals for this week:
- Running. I am hoping to finally get on a set schedule for my running. I want to get outside 4 days this week – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. I am hoping for 8-10 miles.
- Other workouts. I plan on doing some light strength training on the short run days (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday). I will hopefully also do a longer cross-training workout of some sort on Friday.
- Diet. Last week was not such a good week for the diet, especially Mother’s Day. So this week I am going to work really hard to get back on track. I also want to track my food every day this week to see how I’m doing.
