Hello divas and happy Friday! I am so glad that ya’ll have almost made it through the week and I hop that you have great plans for the holiday weekend. It is Friday here at Divas Run for Bling which means it’s time for another edition of 5 things Friday. Each week I share 5 things and link up with the ladies at Eat Pray Run DC, You Signed Up for What and Mar on the Run. This week’s theme is what’s in my gym bag.

So I will be honest. I don’t have a gym bag. I am not a member of the gym and I do all my workouts from home (or drive to close by running trails). So instead of what’s in my gym bag, today I am sharing what would be in my gym bag if I had one and other favorite fitness finds that I am loving right now.
Shoes. I am in love with my 2 newest pair of shoes. I recently bought a fabulous pair of Reebok Crossfit Nano 4.0 cross-training shoes for my Insanity workouts. They have been amazing. The second is my new limited edition colored Newton Running Women’s Motion III shoes.
Polar watch. One of my Christmas presents was a Polar M400 GPS Training Companion with Heart Rate with Bag watch and heart rate monitor. It has been great for both my GPS needs when I run and heart rate monitoring for my cross-training workouts.
Infused water bottle. Speaking of Christmas, my hubby got me this nifty Fruit Infuser Tumbler with Straw which is great for me to use to infuse fruit and veggies in my water. Cucumber Mint is my newest favorite flavor.
Insanity Max30. This isn’t technically something I would put in a gym bag but it is my newest favorite fitness find of the moment. I have finished 2 weeks of Shaun T’s INSANITY MAX:30 program and LOVE it. It is easily modifiable if you can’t do all the PLYO exercises and you get a great workout in just 30 minutes.
21 day fix containers. I love these Beachbody Portion Control 7 Piece Container Kit because it helps so much with portion control. I have figured out that I wasn’t necessarily eating the wrong foods in my diet, but I was eating too much of some nutrients (carbs) and not enough of others (fruits and veggies). These are also great to take with you on the go with just the right portions.
