Hello divas! I hope that you had a fantastic weekend and are in the process of getting ready for the new week ahead. I had a pretty good weekend. I got to go for a long run which was fun and truly enjoy this spring weather we have been having.
One thing I always try to do when it starts getting warmer outside is find recipes that are light and easy to make. This is especially true when I am trying to prepare easy healthy dinner recipes. Fish is one of those meals that I LOVE to prepare this time of year.
The hubby and I really enjoyed this easy healthy recipe this weekend. It is yummy, easy to make and healthy. So check out this baked honey lime tilapia recipe this week!
Fish is one of those meats that we should all be eating regularly. It is a good source of protein of course. But it is also a good source of those omega fatty acids that our bodies don’t always get enough of.
This recipe is so easy to make – most of the time it takes is with the actual baking of the fish and any time required for your side dishes. The first thing you do after pre-heating the oven to 400 degrees is to mix the honey lime glaze. It is literally just lime juice, extra virgin olive oil and raw honey. You will mix these three ingredients until it is well blended.
Next you will grease a baking dish and place the tilapia (or any other fish you like) in it. Drizzle the honey lime glaze over the fish and put into the oven to bake. The fish will cook for about 20 minutes. This is a great time to prepare your side dishes – I had a nice salad and brown rice with ours. Once done, you serve and enjoy a nice light and healthy dinner!
