Hello divas! I hope that you are having a fabulous week so far and are looking forward to the weekend ahead. I actually get to stay home this weekend and there will be fall temps outside so I am thrilled. Because of this, I plan on spending some time outdoors.
But the weather does not always allow for that. When it gets super cold here in Tennessee, I want nothing more that to stay inside where it’s warm. I do manage to bundle up and make it outside for my runs but that’s about it.
My cross-training is done indoors, though, and I like nothing better than high intensity interval workouts (see my benefits of HIIT workouts). So today, I thought it would be fun to share a fun new routine you can do from home – my Build Your Own HIIT Routine workout.
If you read the blog, you will know that I am a big fan of high intensity interval training (HIIT) as a cross-training exercise to go along with my running. It is a great way to get a full-body workout done in as little or as much time as you have to workout (see my tips for finding time to workout).
Today I thought that I would share something a little different and super fun with all of my readers. I am sharing my Build Your Own HIIT Routine workout. It is easy, effective and there are tons of ways to customize your training. This workout can be done with no equipment so it is great for when you are traveling or confined to small spaces. You may need a set of dumbbells or kettlebells depending which exercises you choose to do. Otherwise, simply follow the directions and have fun!
