Hello divas! I hope that you have had a wonderful holiday weekend and week so far. As you have probably noticed, I took a few days off to celebrate the holiday. But I am getting back on track and getting ready for another weekend ahead.
With the holiday and time off, I did splurge on my eating quite a bit. Which means now is the time to get back on track. Now ya’ll know I have a sweet tooth so desserts and sweet snacks are a bit of a downfall for me. So I am always trying to find healthier options that are both on the sweet side but not so laden with sugar and calories.
Which is where today’s easy healthy recipe comes into play. Growing up I loved when my mom made pudding for dessert. But many times it was processed and/or full of sugar. So today I am sharing my easy healthy chocolate chia pudding recipe.
This recipe is so easy to make and it was a big hit in my house. I love that there are only a few ingredients and that it uses chia seeds which are packed with all kinds of nutrients that our body needs to keep it going, making it a healthier dessert or sweet snack option. And it is EASY to make. I mean you basically mix up all the ingredients then leave it in the fridge until ready to serve. You can also customize it to your tastes. I love strawberries so I topped mine with a few slices of fresh ones.
