Hello divas! I hope that you are having a fabulous weekend so far. I have been enjoying watching football and volunteering for the Chattanooga Ironman race. If you read this blog, you know how much I am a fan of easy healthy meals. I try very hard to eat a healthy diet but I don’t always have time to prepare a large meal. So when I found out that Tyson® now has new grilled chicken breast strips that are ready to eat, I jumped at the chance to try them out. These strips are a great way to make an #everydayeffortless meal that is still healthy for you and your family. So today I am sharing how to make a healthier fajita with Tyson® Grilled and Ready® Fully Cooked Refrigerated Grilled Chicken Breast Strips.
Watching football on Saturday afternoons is a great time to try some healthy fajitas. This particular recipe is packed full of healthy goodness and is so easy to make. Not to mention it is customizable based on a person’s taste.
To start this recipe, I started by heading to my local Walmart to purchase my Tyson® Grilled and Ready® Fully Cooked Refrigerated Grilled Chicken Breast Strips. They come in a couple of varieties, including Tyson® Grilled & Ready® Fully Cooked Refrigerated Fajita Chicken Strips and Tyson® Grilled & Ready® Fully Cooked Refrigerated Oven Roasted Diced Chicken Breast. For this recipe, I chose the Fajita Chicken Strips.
I found all the varieties in the freezer section of the store.
After making sure I had all the ingredients, I headed home to prepare my fajitas. I put all the ingredients out on a table so that the hubby and myself could make our own fajitas while watching the big games on tv. I included whole wheat tortillas, some fresh red and green peppers, onions, fajita sauce, cheese and, of course the chicken strips.
What I loved about these chicken strips was how easy they were to prepare and how delicious they were in my fajita recipe. I literally took out the number of strips I thought I would need, put them on a microwaveable safe plate and cooked them for 2 minutes. When done, you are ready to build your fajita the way you like it.
