I for one am so glad that fall is here. There is just something so yummy about the flavors of this season and I love them all. Pumpkin, apple, cranberries, sweet potatoes, winter squashes, you name it. And I especially love to use them in new and interesting dessert recipes.
If you are a regular reader of this blog, you also know that I have a serious sweet tooth. So I thought that today I would share some more yummy healthy fall recipes. This time I am sharing 15 delicious healthy fall desserts to try this season.
I just love a little something sweet from time to time and the fall is a great time to try out new flavors and recipes. But I have been trying to make sure my nutrition is up to par so too much sugar is not such a great thing. So I have been looking for new and healthy desserts using fall produce to satisfy my sweet tooth as well maintain my healthy eating. One of my favorite fall desserts is pumpkin pie. I updated it a bit to make a healthier version that is also no-bake.
I also love apples this time of year. Applesauce is a simple and relatively healthy snack or dessert option for those who are watching their calories. I make mine in a crockpot and add a bit of vanilla.
