It’s finally here – the week of Thanksgiving. Which also means that after the turkey is carved, it’s time to start shopping for Christmas. With that in mind, I am sharing my running wish list to give some ideas of what to get the runner in your life (and maybe my hubby will read this and get some ideas).
Clothing – What runner doesn’t need new clothing right? In my case, I want a new waterproof vest to wear on my runs when the weather is chilly but not cold. Also on my list is some new gear by Swirlgear. These shirts, hoodies and jackets are fabulous. They are made by women runners for women runners.
Medal Hanger – I ended up with several running medals this year (thanks to RunDisney). Which means that it is time for a medal hanger to put on my wall and display them all. I found several at Runningonthewall.com. I love the pink one that says “Forget the glass slippers, this princess wears running shoes.
Compression gear – I have had some issues with plantar faciatis this year and found that wearing some Zensah compression sleeves while I ran really helped. So on my list are either some more Zensah sleeves or some Pro Compression socks (in pink of course)
Foam roller – Again, I’ve had some injury issues this year so a good foam roller is on the list.
Lighted shoelaces – I fell in love with these NiteBeams lighted shoelaces when I went to the Disneyland Half Marathon Expo. They will go really well with the lighted armband I already have.
Stocking stuffer ideas – For the small things to fill the stockings, I am hoping for my favorite energy gels, Huma Chia gels. They now come in 4 flavors: apple cinnamon, strawberry, blueberry, and mango. These gels are all natural and have no caffeine, making them easy on the stomach. Other stocking stuffers on my list include Oh Yeah Nutrition Good Grab Protein bars and some new running headbands.
