Hello divas and happy Thursday! I hope you have had a fabulous week so far. Mine has been pretty good. It is Thursday here at Divas Run for Bling which means it is time to share another yummy healthy recipe. I have been away from my Recipe Thursday feature for the last couple of weeks so it is great to be back sharing some of my favorite healthy recipes. This week we are talking about an easy, healthy breakfast option for those of us with busy mornings.
My mornings can sometimes be super busy. Whether I am up super early and getting a short run in or it is one of those days when I keep hitting the alarm to avoid getting out of bed, sitting down for breakfast does not always happen. I love the type of breakfasts that I can pick up and go as I am walking out the door. The recipe I am sharing today does just that. Muffins are great for the quick on-the-go breakfast or snacks that I am looking for. So today I am sharing my Easy Skinny Banana Chocolate Chip Protein Muffins.
This recipe is super easy and oh so delicious. I have lightened it up by using wheat flour instead of white flour and by using greek yogurt as a substitute for butter. I also added some protein powder for some added protein and nutrients. The powder I used is Manitoba Harvest Vanilla Hemp Powder (look for the review of this powder this weekend). It was very yummy and blended really well with the other ingredients. The great thing about muffins is that they can also be a great snack. So try it out today and let me know what you think!
