Hello divas! I hope that you have had a fabulous week so far and are getting ready for a fun weekend. My week has been pretty good with my wedding anniversary yesterday. I am also looking forward to the weekend. It will be busy but I will get to hang with the bestie who I have not seen in a few months.
Now if you are a regular reader of this blog, you know that I am a HUGE sports fan. But being a southern born and raised, you just can’t not grow up watching sports – especially football (which by the way is just around the corner as well!). And I love any excuse to try some easy healthy recipes and throw a tailgating party.
So to celebrate all the fun sports coming up over the next couple of months, I thought I would share a healthy tailgating recipe (or snack) – my baked spicy sweet potato fries with greek yogurt dip.
I just love sporting events. The sites, the sounds, the tailgating. Oh the tailgating food. It’s usually not very good for you but it is oh so yummy. So I am always trying to alter some of my favorite recipes to make them healthier. This particular recipe is one of my favorites.
When I first started trying to eat a healthier diet, I discovered my love for sweet potato fries. Seriously, I could probably eat a whole bag of them if given the chance. They are a great source of fiber, vitamin A and potassium and are an even healthier option when you bake them in the oven (like I did). Once you add this greek yogurt dip, you have a completely healthy snack to last you all game long.
