Hello divas! I hope that your week has gone well and that you have some fun plans for the weekend. I plan on spending my last weekend of summer running another race at the beach.
But when I get back, I am in full fall mode. This is one of my absolute favorite family traditions so I can’t wait (stay tuned for some fun apple recipes). But with September being here and October, just around the corner, that also means Halloween is getting close. And with Halloween comes all the fun treats and candy (no wonder it’s one of my favorite holidays lol).
With all the candy and treats also come all the extra calories. So I have created a super fun and easy high intensity interval (HIIT) workout that will help you burn off some of the sweets that will be consumed this month – my Trick or Treat HIIT Workout.
If you are a regular reader of this blog, you know I am a big fan of HIIT workouts. There are so many benefits to HIIT including the fact that these types of workouts are super efficient. You can get a lot of workout in a little bit of time.
These workouts are also great cross-training for those like myself that also train for races. The Trick or Treat HIIT workout is designed to take just 15 minutes, though you can repeat the circuits 2-3 times for a longer workout.
Several of these exercises can be done with weights if you would like to add some resistance to the workout. I personally love the idea of feeling extra festive and using a pumpkin for my weight in these exercises.
