The year 2014 is set up to be a fabulous year here at Divas Run for Bling. I have joined challenges which will help keep me motivated to keep running. I have already signed up for several races this spring and plan to add more as the year progresses, hoping to run at least 4 half marathons this year. And I am hoping to finally lose the last 20 lbs. that my doctor recommends that I lose.
Losing 20 lbs. is a daunting task, though. It has left me trying to figure out how the heck I am going to get the pounds off without killing myself working out too much or starving myself. Thin Mint Protein Smoothie
1 Cup Vanilla Almond Milk
1 handful spinach
1 packet/scoop of Vega One Rich Chocolate Nutritional Shake
Peppermint Extract to taste (I used about 1 tbsp.)
3-5 cubes of ice
Place all ingredients except ice into blender and blend until smooth. Add ice to mixture and crush until your desired consistency. Enjoy!
