Hello divas! I hope that you are having a fabulous Memorial Day weekend so far. I usually post a yummy new recipe on Thursdays here on Divas Run for Bling. However, this week I participated in the Pin It Party with The Lean Green Bean so I didn’t get to share one. Well as a special treat to all my readers I am sharing 2 fabulously yummy and healthy clean eating recipes just in time for Memorial Day.
If you read the blog regularly, you know that I am always willing to try new healthy recipes. I am also a huge fan of breakfast. I don’t always get a chance to prepare a full breakfast. Typically I will cook breakfast for dinner ever so often. But with a long weekend this weekend, I actually have time to prepare breakfast.
Today I am sharing two breakfast recipes that are nutritious and yummy – homemade whole wheat waffles and strawberry chia jam. I love anytime I get a chance to use my waffle maker and this recipe is perfect to do so. Chia seeds are also my go to for all kinds of recipes – smoothies, pudding, you name it. They are a fabulous source of fiber, omega 3s and 6s and protein. This is a great option for breakfast this weekend.
